In case all/some blat servers go down, there is one backup blat server that hosts the "top 5" blatted assemblies. See below for current list of the backup server with port numbers:
hg38 trans started on blatx port 17786, untrans started on blatx port 17787 hg19 trans started on blatx port 17778, untrans started on blatx port 17779 hg18 trans started on blatx port 17782, untrans started on blatx port 17783 mm10 trans started on blatx port 17780, untrans started on blatx port 17781 mm9 trans started on blatx port 17784, untrans started on blatx port 17785
If the current blat server(s) hosting any of these 5 assemblies goes down, we will need to make the switch to this fail-over server. This is not an automated process; the hgcentral.blatServers table will need to be hand-edited.
