Multi-region display

The "multi-region" display modes allow you to display multiple regions of a genome in a single window. There are four modes of this new feature:

  • exon-only
  • gene-only
  • alternate haplotypes
  • custom regions

Each mode allows you to view multiple regions of the genome stitched together in different ways. You can access these modes by clicking the "multi-region" button below the Genome Browser image or from the "View" menu above the Genome Browser image. Additionally, you can enable the exon-only mode using the keyboard shortcut "e v", and you can return to the default view using the shortcut "d v".For more information, see the user's guide: https://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/multiRegionHelp.html.
