I think this is a Konqueror bug; search for "opacity konqueror bug" to see many bug reports
on this problem. I doubt I will be able to fix this; konqueror is a very rarely used
browser, so I don't think we need to worry too much about this. -lrm

New Feature: Drag Selection/Zooming

Drag mouse in base position track to zoom in.

Testing phase -- list o/s & browser with comments:

- Windows XP & IE 7: as you zoom, if you release the mouse while it is on a track item, it goes to the details page for that item (hgc or hgGene).

- Windows XP & FF 3.0.4: no known errors.

- Windows XP & Chrome 1.0.154.36: no known errors.

- Windows XP & Opera 9.63: no known errors.

- Windows XP & Safari 3.2.1: no known errors.

- Linux & FF 3.0.2: no known errors.

- Linux & Konqueror 3.5.4-18.el5.centos: the box drawn when selecting a section to zoom in on is an opaque blue rather than a transparent purple.

I think this is a Konqueror bug; search for "opacity konqueror bug" to see many bug reports on this problem. I doubt I will be able to fix this; konqueror is a very rarely used browser, so I don't think we need to worry too much about this. -lrm
