Four single-nucleotide polymorphisms rs3771829, rs3771833, rs3771856, rs1701137, at the TACR1 gene, previously known to be associated with bipolar disorder and alcoholism were found to be associated with ADHD p=0.0006, 0.00008, 0.0106, 0.0089 respectively.
