Born in Italy and educated between Calabria, Sicily and Florida. I obtained my doctoral degree in Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Messina in 2011. During my PhD and since the completation of this, I was involved in various challenging project about the genetics and the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases using novel forefront technologies like next generation sequencing focusing on the development of the pipeline analysis data and I quickly developed a wide range of technical skills such as linkage analysis, mutational screening and bioinformatic tools.

I worked in an international environment, and this providing me a trustworthy attitude and a friendly and cooperative behavior with a good communication skills.
